Apple Launched its New iPhone 6S and 6S Plus

September 10, 2015 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

Apple came out on Sept 9 with its latest mobile phones, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, providing these gadgets an innovative pressure-sensitive display, better processor and a highly effective camera. While they might look quite familiar, the company has modified everything about its new iPhones.

This season’s iPhone is the brand’s ending of the “S”. This indicates that Apple keeps the primary style of the products the same, but brings other functions to entice clients, like its Siri electronic virtual assistant for the iPhone 4S or the TouchID fingerprint reader for the iPhone 5S.

iPhone-6S

The company’s iPhone branch has become more important than ever to the organization’s financial results after the release of a bigger-screen mobile phone during the last year. The item has contributed to more than 2/3 of sales in past months, since Apple launched the iPhone 6 and the larger iPhone 6 Plus back in Sept 2014. Generally, the iPhone makes for almost 50% of the entire Apple income. It means that having clients enthusiastic about the iPhone is crucial for the organization to remain a significant technical innovator, especially with tough competitors from Asia coming its way.

A marquee function for this season’s iPhone 6S was predicted to be represented by the Force Touch innovation used for the Apple Smart Watch, this being a pressure-sensitive option that reacts to various kinds of touches. The organization instead revealed the 3D Touch, a function that seems to have the same abilities. For example, it will allow a customer to look in an e-mail by pushing down on the topic headline.

In another significant improvement, Siri can now be triggered through a vocal command for the first time, with the famous “Hey Siri”. This will allow customers to ask their virtual assistant to select a song to play or make phone calls, even when they are cleaning in the house or making food. In older designs, Siri is only activated by pushing the cell phone’s home key. This new function helps the company to catch up with similar voice-activated gadgets like Amazon Echo and a lot of Android mobile phones.

These new 4.7” iPhone 6S and 5.5” iPhone 6S Plus are exactly the same size as previous versions. Preorders start this weekend and the gadgets go for selling on Sept 25 in US, UK, Japan, China, Australia, France and other marketplaces. The smart phones will be sold in 130 countries by the end of this year. Also, users of more recent designs of the iPhone can update them to the improved iOS 9 OS starting on Sept 16.
