The political action committee of previous Florida Governor Jeb Bush has drawn the anger of Democrats after a new staffer’s history of inflammatory comments on Twitter. The co-founder of Hipster.com, now the Right to Rise PAC’s chief technology officer, Ethan Czahor made a series of offensive remarks from 2009 to 2011, while the governor believes the remarks were inappropriate.
Bush’s spokeswoman said the comments were deleted after their request, although they still consider Czahor as a great talent and an asset to the PAC’s board. Meanwhile, Democrats were angry on the tweets, criticizing Czahor’s recent hiring. Additionally, a Democratic National Committee’s spokeswoman said the new leader of the digital outreach of Jeb’s team only means unpreparedness for prime time.
