FBI Stopped Investigation of Orlando Shooter For Most INSANE Reason Ever

As the Obama administration continues to impose political correctness at all costs, it has now been made known that a full investigation of the Islamic terrorist Omar Mateen had once occurred, but was dropped in the name of political correctness.

According to reports, a 10-month investigation in 2013 on Mateen was conducted, but was dropped immediately once the investigators found that Mateen’s co-workers had anti-Islamic opinions of him. Ever since the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has given the Obama administration a difficult time about how Muslims are treated, the profiling of Muslims simply because they are Muslim is no longer allowed.

It is now apparent that national security is no longer as important as making sure the terrorists who repeatedly take action on American soil are not offended.

All of this information was given by FBI Director James Comey, as reported by Catherine Herridge of Fox News.

“Director Comey confirmed to reporters this morning that there was a full FBI investigation of Omar Mateen in 2013,” Herridge said.

“It was 10 months in length, and it was opened after he told his coworkers that he had family connections to Al Qaeda, that he was a member of a Shi’a terrorism organization and that he hoped law enforcement would raid his home and assault his wife so that he could then retaliate and martyr himself.”

During the time of the investigation, “he [Mateen] was on a watch list, and if he attempted to buy a firearm during that period the FBI would have been flagged to that purchase.

“At the end of 10 months the investigation was closed with no further action. They took Mateen’s statements he was trying to taunt his coworkers because he thought he was being marginalized because of his Muslim faith.”

Now, it is obvious that if the FBI was not forced to abandon their operation and leave religion out of its investigations, the tragedy in Orlando, killing 49, could have been easily avoided.

Patrick S. Poole, a counter-terrorism specialist, said, “Again, the FBI has been aware of a future terrorist’s escalating religious radicalization and did nothing about it because bureau policies prohibited them from doing so.”

In an age where everybody is offended about anything, it is certainly important that we continue to protect the terrorists, the ones who want nothing more to take away our freedoms in the first place. No number of terror attacks on American soil may be enough at this point to change how groups like the FBI conduct their operations. If only the Obama administration would open their eyes to the obvious facts about radical Islam and do something to protect the American citizens.
