Disney World wants to prevents fraud by scanning children’s fingerprints.

Disney World does not seem so magic since they asked children to scan their fingerprints before they enter there. The decision was made because they want to reduce the fraud. Even though the program was at first only for people over 10 years old, now it will apply also for those between three and nine years old. We understand why Disney made this decision, but we have to say it is scary, especially because there are kids involved.

People were concerned if Disney will keep the data they receive from fingerprints. The company said that it will not do that. The system works by using a fingerprint to create a temporary token. If you want to go out and entry again, in the same day, there will be no problem. However, if you come after four years, the system will not have your fingerprint.
Parents are still concerned. It is not usual for them that someone takes their children’s fingerprints, especially when they go to have fun. If Disney World started to use this technology, what will happen in the future? We are expecting to see more companies who will use this system to get their employees’ fingerprints. If you go to Disney in the future, do not be surprised when you and your child will be asked to give your fingerprints.
Disney World is an entertainment park in Florida. It was opened in October 1971 and has become one of the most popular places for children in the whole world. There are millions of people who come there every year. The park has themed resort hotels, nine non–Disney hotels, four theme parks, two water parks, several golf courses, a camping resort, and other entertainment places for kids and their parents.
Walt Disney was not able to see this place because he died of lung cancer one year after he decided to build it. However, his dream became reality and now millions of children are making memories there. We do not know what will happen in the future with the fingerprints. Although Disney World said they will not keep them. What is important to know is that parents can give their own fingerprints if they do not want their children to give them. This new system will apply on in Disney World, There are two Disneylands, in California and France, but they will not be involved in this system.
