Blizzard is currently looking for a new game director to replace Josh Mosqueira on the new Diablo title.
Although fans are still freaking over the new Diablo III release, Blizzard drops the bomb again by announcing a new Diablo title. Or so it seems.
Here’s the rundown of the newest scuttlebutt from Blizzard HQ. Currently, the dev team over at Blizzard is short one person, since Josh Mosqueira, the man behind Diablo III decided to pack up his stuff and hit the road.
Is the New Diablo Title for Real?
The former director of Diablo III has a more than impressive CV, being involved in some of the most renowned gaming projects like Far Cry 3, Warhammer 40.000, and Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.
Unfortunately, the veteran game designer felt like the ten years spent at Blizzard, are more than enough, and has decided to search to hit the market for other opportunities.
But that’s not all. With Mosqueira leaving Diablo’s dev team, the company is short one game director, and they’re going to need one pretty soon, since all the signs in the wind point towards a new Diablo title.
Although Blizzard did its best in order to keep a closed lid on this new Diablo project, they did say that they are in dire need of a new game director, someone to take the reins of the developer team in order to create the future holder of the Diablo franchise.
As we are well aware of, the last Diablo title launched by Blizzard was Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, which was released back in August 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
To kick start the new Diablo title, Blizzard is on the lookout for the new game director, someone with vision and who has the necessary skills in order to design the ultimate Diablo title.
For now, we don’t know much about the new Diablo title, and Blizzard has done its best in order to keep the public in the dark. The only thing leaked from Blizzard about the new Diablo title is that it won’t be a spin-off of the original series.
We know that it isn’t much, but it seems that Blizzard is set on making this new Diablo title come true.
As always, we will keep you up to date with the latest facts and rumors about the new Diablo title. For now, we only wish to hear that Blizzard is good for it, and not another goose chase.
