child abuse

Indiana couple tied rope around children’s necks and feet to punish them.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – On the 29th of June, authorities arrested an Indiana couple who, allegedly, use a cruel punishment device to ‘discipline’ their children. The torture device has been discovered by a sheriff’s deputy during a welfare check.

Indiana Couple Said They Wanted to Teach Kids About What Prison Feels Like

On Tuesday, Ashley Stigers and Shannon Breaux, an Indiana couple, appeared before the magistrates to answer for the charges stemming from their June arrest. According to court documents, Breaux and Stigers repeatedly and cruelly subjected their children to extreme torture in an attempt to discipline him.

In June, a deputy was dispatched to the couple’s West Lafayette house to conduct a welfare check. The deputy found nothing out of the ordinary until he stepped into the couple’s living room.

According to the incident report, the deputy saw a rope hanging from the ceiling and several items scattered around the room which could have been used to torture, someone.

Upon searching the house, the deputy found a boy and a girl; both covered in bruises. The couple was later taken into custody and charged with criminal confinement and neglect of a dependent.

A Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson declared that the children were found tied up in the couple’s home.

Conclusion

During question, Stigers told the detectives that Breaux came up with the idea. When the children misbehaved, Breaux would place a rope around their feet and neck before using a buckle to retrain their hands.

This means that every time the child tried to move his feet, he would choke on the rope. The boy also told the authorities that his father would lock him in the garage, denying him food, water, and the use of a bathroom.

Stigers said that she repeatedly attempted to put an end to Breaux’s cruel methods.

Affluent Graphic Novelist of Killing Girlfriend, Mutilating Her Body

June 21, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

prison

The affluent graphic novelist scalped the woman, drained her body of blood.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – On Wednesday, Blake Leibel, a 37-year-old affluent graphic novelist from Canada, was found guilty of several charges stemming from his girlfriend’s mutilation and murder. The man was taken into custody in May 2016 after the authorities discovered Iana Kasian’s corpse inside Leibel’s Hollywood condo.

Affluent Graphic Novelist Reportedly Jealous of His Child

Blake Leibel, the son of a retired Olympic athlete, turned developer and Eleonor Leibel, the heiress to a plastics empire, pleaded guilty to all charges, which includes mayhem, first-degree murder, and torture.

If he’s found guilty, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars without the possibility of parole.

The controversy surrounding Leibel’s eccentric way of thinking came to light shortly after publishing
“Syndrome,” a graphic novel focused on the hard to digest exploits of a serial killer. According to the authorities, Leibel’s protagonist had a fetish of stringing up his victim before draining them of blood.

In late May 2016, Hollywood law enforcement officers stumbled upon a scene straight out of one of Leibel’s graphic novels.

Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office declared that the body of 30-year-old Iana Kasian, Leibel’s girlfriend, was found mutilated in the man’s bedroom.

The coroner’s report reveals that while she was still alive, Leibel cut out her scalp and parts of her force. More than that, it would appear that Iana’s body had been drained of blood.

One of the prosecutors declared during Leibel’s trial that most of the injuries inflicted on the victim were done while she was still alive.

Even more horrifying is that fact that Kasian lived six more hours after being scalped and mutilated.

Conclusion

The authorities discovered the couple’s baby beside Kasian’s mutilated cadaver.

Apart from being a graphic novelist, Leibel is also an auto buff and a powerboater.

You Can Actually Play Skyrim Very Special Edition on Your Amazon Echo

June 14, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

Skyrim

Skyrim Very Special Edition can be downloaded from Alexa’s store.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Remember Bethesda’s E3 Skyrim prank? You know, the commercial featuring comedian Keegan-Michael Key voice-battling dragons and mud crabs while sitting on his couch. Well, as it turns out, those interested in the playing the vocal Dungeons and Dragons type came can actually download it from Alexa’s store.

Skyrim Very Special Edition Puts Your TES Expertise to the Test

You’re probably wondering right now about how the Hell can someone play Skyrim without using a controller? Well, you can, and you’ll be able to once you download Skyrim Very Special Edition.

What’s even more interesting is that the game started from ad prank which aired this Sunday at E3.

Since the game was released in 2011, it received its fair share of DLCs, remasterizations, and none to mention its very own VR version.

Now, the purpose of the commercial was to make fun of Bethesda’s obsession with modding, remodding, and re- remodding Skyrim.

The ad, which features Keegan-Michael Key, showcases a perfectly playable Amazon Echo Skyrim version. While sitting on the couch, Key uses his voice to fight mud crabs, explore Skyrim, and to run away from dragons. The moment when Key was voice-battling a dragon and tells Alexa to consume all the cheese in the inventory is priceless, to say the least.

However unlikely this might sound; Skyrim’s Amazon Echo version is really out there, and you can play it using your voice. Gameplay-wise, it kind of reminds us of a simplistic tabletop Dungeons and Dragons game, where you had to tell the dungeon master how your character is likely to react given a life-and-death situation.

Conclusion

It’s pretty cool to have a voice-based RPG for Alexa. To get Skyrim Very Special Edition, you’ll need to go to Alexa’s store and download the appropriate application.

Georgia Correctional Officer Found Tweezers, Bobby Pins, and Pencils in Inmate’s Vagina

June 8, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

bobby pins

Georgia correctional officer removed bobby pins and other contraband items from inmate’s “birth canal.”

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Because there’s never a dull day when you’re a correctional officer, we give you the story of a man working at the Emmanuel County State Penitentiary who stumbled upon a veritable treasure. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office recalled the incident in a Facebook post.

Correctional Officer Says Inmates Can Use Any Object for Contraband

The correctional officer involved in the recent shake-down did not want to reveal his name, but he did mention working for the Emmanuel County State Pen, women-only detention center.

As the officer reveals, last week, a new inmate was booked into the prison. The man said that it’s standard procedure to search inmate upon arrival. This also includes a cavity search.

While conducting the said operation, the correctional officer found several objects shoved inside the inmate’s “birth canal.” He said that the unnamed inmate wanted to get past the checkpoint with seven pairs of tweezers, a whole bag of bobby pins, pens, and a couple of pencils.

The items were, of course, taken away, but not before the prison officials snapped a couple of pictures to prove that where’s a will, there’s always a way.

As you would expect, the picture ended up on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. It didn’t take commenters long to start asking questions about the bounty.

Interestingly enough, the individual who posted the story answered each and every question. Probably one of the most popular was about contraband.

Conclusion

The Sheriff’s Office answered that the items the female inmate smuggled could be used in all sorts of way. For example, bobby pins can be bent to open handcuffs locks, while pencil lead can be mixed with water or spit to make tattoos. The Sheriff’s Office said that pencils are some of the most smuggled object, as prison has a strict no-stabbing policy.

Cafeteria Manager to Be Sentenced for Enslaving Mentally Challenged Employee

June 7, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

J&J cafeteria manager found guilty of having forced mentally challenged African-American employee to work without payment.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – A 53-year-old South Carolina cafeteria could spend the next 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to having forced a mentally challenged employee to work without pay. Court documents reveal that Bobby Paul Edwards forced John Christopher Smith to work 100 hours per week, and would, at the time, use physical force to keep the man in line.

Cafeteria Manager Burnt Employee’s Back with Hot Tongs

On Monday, Bobby Paul Edwards, a former J&J Cafeteria manager, pleaded guilty to forced labor. Edwards confessed before the magistrates that he deliberately forced a mentally challenged African-American employee to work more than 100 hours per week without any pay.

According to court documents, Smith, Edwards’ employee, has been working at the Conway cafeteria since he was 12. What started as a dishwasher job, it soon took a turn for the worst.

Smith told the magistrates that between 2009 and 2014, Edwards made him work long shifts, most of the time without paying him. He also said that everyone in the cafeteria was afraid of him.

The prosecutors revealed that Edwards was especially hard on Smith. When the man failed to meet his expectations in the kitchen, the cafeteria manager would threaten him with unemployment. Sometimes he would use his fists to make Smith take on more duties or to work faster in the serving line.

Smith also declared that Edwards would frequently use racial slurs when talking to him. And, apparently, Edwards’ hate for his mentally challenged employee was so deep-rooted, that he would burn his back with hot tongs.

Conclusion

And now, the former cafeteria manager waits for the jury’s verdict. If he’s found guilty, he could very well spend the next 20 years behind bars. Based on the verdict, the court could also order him to pay a $250,000 fine.

Jeffrey Lynn Borden, an Alabama death row inmate, was found dead in his cell.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – An Alabama Department of Corrections spokesperson recently confirmed that Jeffrey Lynn Borden, a death row inmate scheduled to be executed this month, was found dead in his cell on Sunday. Prison officials declared that Borden hanged himself with a bedsheet.

Death Row Inmate Spent the Last 25 Years in Prison

On Sunday morning, an Alabama correctional officer discovered the lifeless body of 57-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Borden, an inmate who’s been on death row since 1995.

Allegedly, the night before his suicide, Borden fashioned a noose using his bedsheet and on Sunday used it to take his own life.

Death was pronounced at the scene and Borden’s body later taken to Alabama’s Department of Forensic Science for a post-mortem examination.

According to the Alabama Department of Corrections spokesperson, Borden was sentenced to death for the murders of Cheryl Borden, his estranged wife, and Roland Harris, Cheryl’s father. Both murders occurred in 1993 during a family gathering.

Based on court documents, on Christmas Eve 1993, Jeffrey Borden took his wife and three children to his in-laws’ Gardendale home. Prior to the trip, Cheryl had informed Borden of her intention to move in with her family.

At one point during the family gathering, Jeffrey, Cheryl, Roland, and the three children went to Jeffrey’s car to retrieve several items.

While Cheryl moved some cardboard boxes in the back of the vehicle, the death row inmate whipped out his gun, shooting his estranged wife in the back of the head. Roland received a similar gunshot wound while he was running away.

Conclusion

According to the police report, the death row inmate executed Cheryl and her father in front of his children.

Borden was found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder in 1995 and sentenced to death.

New York Man Had 6.6 Million Pictures of Child Pornography in His Home

June 4, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

storage devices

The New York man stored 6.6 million pictures and movies of child pornography on 24 devices.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – During a recent police action, New York authorities seized the largest stash of child pornography in the history of the county. On Friday, the Suffolk County District attorney said that the ‘sick’ individual possessed over 6 million images of child erotica and pornographic material.

New York Organized His Child Pornography Collection

Timothy Sini, Suffolk County District Attorney, declared during Friday’s press conference that a 58-year-old New York had been arrested on the 14th of May and charged with child pornography possession.

Sini noted that the detectives working the case were disgusted by how the individual curated his collection.

On the 14th of May, the authorities served a house search warrant in Amityville. The home belongs to David Johnson, 58.

Inside, the authorities discovered what Sini would later call the largest collection of child pornography in the history of the county. On 24 electronic devices, the New York man had stored 6.6 million images and videos of child rape and erotica.

Probably the most repulsive discovery was Johnsons’ way of organizing and cataloging his collection.

As Sini revealed, the disturbed individual was so taken aback by the material that he spent days or weeks organizing the pictures and movies by race, age, sex, and other characteristics.

Furthermore, as Sini pointed out on Friday, Johnson even sorted out his collection by victims wearing glasses.

Johnson arrested came shortly after a parent called 911 to report the individual’s suspicious behavior.

Conclusion

The preliminary investigation revealed that the 58-year-old New York man hadn’t had any contact with children and did not distribute the material in question.

Johnson was charged with 200 of child pornography possession and booked into jail. If sentenced, the New York man could spend the next 15 years behind bars.

Captain Kirk Caught Masturbating in Clearwater Bus Stop

Man claiming to be Captain Kirk was arrested for lewd behavior.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Because it’s odd day Thursday, we give you the story of a 56-year-old Clearwater resident who was caught masturbating on a bus stop bench. Nothing odd about this, except for the fact that the ‘gentleman’ in question told the police that he’s Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the USS Enterprise.

Captain Kirk Told Arresting Officers That He Was Dealing with an Itch

According to a Clearwater Police Department spokesperson, on Monday, the department received a call from a person who claimed to see a man engaging in lewd behavior.

Several minutes later, the authorities arrived at a nearby bus stop, just in time to see a man sitting on the bench with his hand stuck in his pants.

When a police officer asked the individual what he was doing, the man told him that he was just feeling an itch down there and that he was trying to scratch it away. However, as the authorities pointed out, the suspect was clearly touching himself.

Even with cops standing right next to him, the suspect continued to mind his own business. He eventually stopped after the police officers handcuffed him.

Now, this is where it gets really interesting. When the cops asked for his name, the suspect told him that he’s Captain Kirk, the protagonist of the Star Trek series.

Not in the least impressed by the man’s wild claims, the law enforcement officers arrested him.

The individual, who was later identified as James Bundrick, a 56-year-old Georgia resident, was charged the same day with providing a false name to law enforcement and disorderly conduct. He was booked in the county jail on a $400 bond.

Conclusion

Apparently, this wasn’t Bundrick’s first run-in with the law. According to police records, the man served a 3-year prison sentence for making fake bomb threats.

Welsh Woman Commits Suicide After Surgeon Removes Ovaries

May 30, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

surgery

Welsh woman hanged herself after learning that a internationally recognized surgeon removed her ovaries.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – A Welsh woman who underwent bowel surgery in 2016 in Bristol was discovered dead in her apartment. British authorities believe that the woman took her own life after finding out that the surgeon who performed the operation removed her ovaries without consent. The doctor in question has been suspended and is currently under scrutiny.

Welsh Woman Told Husband That the Pain Was Too Much

Lucinda Methuen-Campbell was a 58-year-old woman and mother from the town of Swansea. For the past couple of years, Methuen-Campbell had pain-management issues, having been previously diagnosed with an inflammatory bowel condition.

Unable to withstand the pain, the Welsh woman went in 2016 to a Bristol hospital where she met Dr. Tony Dixon.

A proficient and internationally recognized surgeon, Dixon told Methuen-Campbell that he’s going to take her pain away using a mesh-based treatment.

Angus, the Welsh woman’s son, told a local news outlet that the surgery only managed to exacerbate his mother’s pain.

By the beginning of 2018, Methuen-Campbell was in a lot of pain and, on top of all that, she needed to reconcile with the thought of not being able to have children.

As Methuen-Campbell revealed during an interview, she learned about Dixon removing her ovaries following a post-surgery talk.

Upon confronting him about removing the organs without her consent, the Bristol surgeon blatantly responded that her ovaries were getting in the way.

Before departing from this world, Methuen-Campbell left Angus a note, telling him that he’s the best son but that the pain was unbearable.

Conclusion

When news of the Welsh woman’s suicide made headlines, Dr. Dixon was suspended from two Bristol hospitals.

At the moment, the General Medical Council and the National Health Service are conducting a joint investigation to ascertain Dixon’s role in Methuen-Campbell’s suicide.

New York Boy Arrested for Robbing Legally Blind Man

May 21, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

turnstile.

The teen robbed the blind man after he helped him get passed the turnstile.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – NYPD arrested a 14-year-old on Sunday after a subway surveillance camera caught him stealing from a blind man. According to the authorities, the boy, whose name was not revealed, told his victim that he’s a police officer.

Blind Man Said the Boy Removed $500 From His Credit Card

On Sunday, the authorities arrested a 14-year-old boy and charged him with impersonating a law enforcement officer and grand larceny. The child’s name was not disclosed as he may be trialed as a juvenile.

According to the authorities, on Monday afternoon, a surveillance camera at the 34th Street and Eighth Avenue subway station, captured the boy while he was talking to an elderly gentleman.

Minutes later, the boy helped the man pass through the turnstile. The victim later told the authorities that the individual claimed to be a law enforcement officer.

After helping the man, the teen unzips his backpack, carefully removing the wallet before disappearing.

Later that day, he would use the credit card to make a $500 purchase. To expedite the case, NYPD made the surveillance tape public.

Ironically, it was the boy’s mother who called the authorities. The woman told the emergency operator that the boy seen on tape was her son.

Law enforcement agents took the boy into custody and charged him with one count of grand larceny and one count of impersonating a police officer.

Conclusion

The 14-year-old boy’s case is very similar to that of Kevin King, the Clearwater teen who was turned in by Sandra Green, his mother. Just like the 14-year-old mom, Mrs. Green told her son to pack out his prison bag as soon as she saw the surveillance footage.

As for the victim, NYPD agents returned the wallet to the blind man. The boy’s name was not revealed for legal reasons.
