If you feel upset or you are angry, don’t think that physical exercise will help you regain your smile. That would be a wrong presupposition that could even cause some severe damage, provoking a heart attack. Scientists have proved that the risk of heart attack triples when you are under stress, and you undergo some workout. If you exercise on a daily basis, then your body is already used to some pressure. Regular exercise could help you reduce stress, also decreasing the risks of heart disease. But we are all very busy working, and we cannot afford to spend precious hours of our time to exercise.
Sometimes we forget that health is more important than earning money and working ten hours a day. Researchers have shown that there may be several points in someone’s life when exercising is not recommended. If you just had a fight with your boss and you are still angry, don’t even think of going to the gym to let off some steam. You could not have that much luck, and you could develop some heart problems that will impair your state of health.
Barry Jacobs, who is a psychologist at the Crozer-Keystone Health System in Philadelphia and he also works at the American Heart Association, claims that there is always a connection between the mind and the body, assuming that this study shows you how to find a balance. The study was entirely conducted by the Population Health Research Institute at McMaster University in Ontario. The results of the survey were published in the Heart Association magazine.
This trial tested 12,461 individuals from 52 countries who suffered their first heart attack. Most of the people were men, and their average age was 58. They just needed to answer a few questions, regarding whether they were angry or had intensive workout an hour before their heart attack. After receiving the responses and comparing them, researchers were able to determine risks that could occur at different times for the same people.
If those individuals were stressed, upset or worried, the heart attack symptoms displayed immediately. The same thing happened to those people who were previously exercising, before feeling a breathtaking pain of the heart.
