Scientists are examining how your heart is threatened by the high levels of cholesterol. The risks of developing heart diseases can multiply if your cholesterol is not kept under control. Researchers have conducted a study which proved that approximately 632,000 Canadians were exposed to heart illnesses due to the high levels of cholesterol.
The heart diseases that could be developed because of cholesterol levels may be fatal for some. Scientists obtained evidence that argued those people were in danger of suffering strokes. Some of them were even predisposed to cancer. Those patients who had higher HDL were more likely to experience a deadly noncardiovascular than those who displayed middle levels of HDL.
Dr. Dennis Ko has claimed that low HDL was one of the causes for high death ranks. This is an important discovery. The standards of cholesterol represent a marker of an unhealthy diet or impaired state of health. Thus, a scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Toronto has argued that this indicates low HDL is unlikely to directly cause heart diseases.
Dr. Michael Shapiro, who is a cardiologist, has asserted that usually, people believe that HDL is not a dangerous version of cholesterol. What they don’t know is that doctors no longer think that people need to increase the low HDL. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology’s Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease Section.
This theory occurred due to the results of so many medical trials which have tested the effects of the vitamin niacin bound to increase the levels of cholesterol. Researchers have proved that even if some treatments raise the levels of HDL, they are not considered to jeopardize people’s state of health. Heart problems do not seem to occur because of this.
Shapiro has asserted that studies have analyzed and debated that the variation of genes was correlated with the levels of HDL. Nevertheless, they were not revealed to be connected to the increased risks of cardiovascular diseases. No matter what, doctors, as well as patients, need to be acutely aware of the risks imposed by a low HDL. Levels which reach a value like 40 mg/dL can increase the possibility of heart illnesses. People need to take care of the variations in the levels of cholesterol.
