Countries where Pokemon GO app is not available

 

Pokemon GO app, the world-phenomenon, has become the most popular app on Android and Ios. Even if it has millions of users, there are countries where the game is not available or the authorities said people are not able to play it because their security was in danger. While some people are searching for Pokemon , there are others who still wait for the game to be launched in their country.

China is a country where Pokemon Go app is not available. This might be a surprise because it is the largest market for mobile games in the world. After two months from the launch, people are still not able to play the game. Players have to log in the app using a Google Account and Google Maps. This makes it impossible for gamers to play because all Google’s services are banned in China.

The government wants to keep internet users from what they think could be dangerous for them. If they do not have a Google account, they can’t play Pokemon GO. Of course, people used also VPN to play this game, but just a few part of them were able to use the app using this option.

South Korea is another country where people can’t play Pokemon GO . Google had a dispute with the government over access to data. The officials said that security is the reason for not allowing Google to launch this game, but the giant search engine thinks they just want to help domestic companies. People are hoping things will change in the future and that they will be able to play the game all the world is talking about.

Iran is also a country where people are not able to play Pokemon GO app. The authorities decided that after many people came in areas where they were not allowed to. The officials worried about security and decided it would be better if people will not play this game. Pokemon GO app was banned in Belgium because of one player because one player decided to hack the game and its test was discovered by Niantic Labs.

There are many countries where the Pokemon GO app is available and people enjoy catching Pokemon no matter where they are.  Even if the game has fewer players than it had when it was released, it still is one of the most popular apps.
