Paramedics under investigation after covering Chicago teen with white sheet even though he wasn’t dead.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Monday morning’s gang-related shooting left at least several people injured and two dead. In an attempt to save others injured in the shooting, the paramedics overlooked an individual who sustained a critical gunshot wound to the head.  The Chicago teen was brought to the hospital an hour later but passed away the following day.

Chicago Teen Moved Arms and Feet under the Sheet, Eyewitnesses Declared

Anthony Riccio, Chicago’s Police Department’s First Deputy Superintendent, declared that the paramedics who rendered assistance during Monday’s shooting are currently under investigation.

According to Riccio, on Monday, at around 5 a.m., someone called 911 from the Chicago University Village neighborhood to report an on-going shooting. Unfortunately, the attackers were long gone before the authorities arrived.

However, based on the testimonies of those who witnessed the incident, those who opened fire on the partygoers are from a rival gang. The aftermath is tragic – at least several people injured and two dead.

Eric Carey, a 17-year-old boy who was at the party when hostilities erupted, was declared dead at the scene and covered with a white sheet. However, as the paramedics tended to others, an unidentified woman shouted out to them after seeing the Chicago teen moving his limbs and head under the sheet.

The paramedics quickly performed chest compressions. Later, they loaded the Chicago teen in an ambulance and rushed him to the hospital. Riccio declared that the teen had sustained a catastrophic gunshot wound to the head during the shooting.

Conclusion

At the hospital, Carey was placed on life support. Unfortunately, the Chicago teen passed away on Tuesday, at 1:15 a.m.

Riccio announced that the teen’s death prompted the authorities to launch an investigation in order to determine if the ambulance crew made the right call when pronouncing Carey’s death.

Coroner said that the mentally challenged teenager died due to sepsis and starvation.

A Wisconsin mother could spend the next 25 years behind bars for starving to death her daughter diagnosed with a genetic syndrome. The body was discovered by the authorities during a welfare check. According to the police report, the woman left the mentally challenged teenager alone over the weekend to attend a Memorial Day party.

Mentally Challenged Teenager Died in Room with Rotten Food and Human Feces

According to the police report, on the 29th of May 2017, several Wisconsin police officers went to the house of 36-year-old Nicole Gussert to conduct a welfare check. When no one answered the door, the authorities went in. They were greeted by a gruesome scene.

Brianna Gussert, Nicole’s 13-year-old was found dead in her bedroom. One of the police officers on scene declared that the teenager had been lying in her own waste for at least a week. More than that, a preliminary examination of the body revealed that the diaper Brianna was wearing when she died begun to decompose long before the authorities arrived.

Melinda Tempelis, Outagamie County DA, said on Monday, during Nicole Gussert’s trial, that her home reeked of human feces, rotten food, and death. The coroner’s report indicated that Brianna’s cause of death was sepsis.

During questioning, Nicole, Brianna’s mother, told the authorities that she had been away the weekend Brianna died. More than that, the woman said that she doesn’t remember when exactly she fed her child.

According to Tempelis, Gussert’s daughter had been diagnosed with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a genetic disorder that hinders the child growth and intellect. Furthermore, the condition left Brianna unable to walk, talk and care for herself.

Conclusion

Tempelis said during Monday’s trial that the mentally challenged teenager died in agony.

The woman could spend the following 25 years behind bars if she’s found guilty. In addition, she could also be convicted on a separate meth possession charge.

Georgia Correctional Officer Found Tweezers, Bobby Pins, and Pencils in Inmate’s Vagina

Georgia correctional officer removed bobby pins and other contraband items from inmate’s “birth canal.”

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Because there’s never a dull day when you’re a correctional officer, we give you the story of a man working at the Emmanuel County State Penitentiary who stumbled upon a veritable treasure. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office recalled the incident in a Facebook post.

Correctional Officer Says Inmates Can Use Any Object for Contraband

The correctional officer involved in the recent shake-down did not want to reveal his name, but he did mention working for the Emmanuel County State Pen, women-only detention center.

As the officer reveals, last week, a new inmate was booked into the prison. The man said that it’s standard procedure to search inmate upon arrival. This also includes a cavity search.

While conducting the said operation, the correctional officer found several objects shoved inside the inmate’s “birth canal.” He said that the unnamed inmate wanted to get past the checkpoint with seven pairs of tweezers, a whole bag of bobby pins, pens, and a couple of pencils.

The items were, of course, taken away, but not before the prison officials snapped a couple of pictures to prove that where’s a will, there’s always a way.

As you would expect, the picture ended up on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. It didn’t take commenters long to start asking questions about the bounty.

Interestingly enough, the individual who posted the story answered each and every question. Probably one of the most popular was about contraband.

Conclusion

The Sheriff’s Office answered that the items the female inmate smuggled could be used in all sorts of way. For example, bobby pins can be bent to open handcuffs locks, while pencil lead can be mixed with water or spit to make tattoos. The Sheriff’s Office said that pencils are some of the most smuggled object, as prison has a strict no-stabbing policy.

Cafeteria Manager to Be Sentenced for Enslaving Mentally Challenged Employee

J&J cafeteria manager found guilty of having forced mentally challenged African-American employee to work without payment.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – A 53-year-old South Carolina cafeteria could spend the next 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to having forced a mentally challenged employee to work without pay. Court documents reveal that Bobby Paul Edwards forced John Christopher Smith to work 100 hours per week, and would, at the time, use physical force to keep the man in line.

Cafeteria Manager Burnt Employee’s Back with Hot Tongs

On Monday, Bobby Paul Edwards, a former J&J Cafeteria manager, pleaded guilty to forced labor. Edwards confessed before the magistrates that he deliberately forced a mentally challenged African-American employee to work more than 100 hours per week without any pay.

According to court documents, Smith, Edwards’ employee, has been working at the Conway cafeteria since he was 12. What started as a dishwasher job, it soon took a turn for the worst.

Smith told the magistrates that between 2009 and 2014, Edwards made him work long shifts, most of the time without paying him. He also said that everyone in the cafeteria was afraid of him.

The prosecutors revealed that Edwards was especially hard on Smith. When the man failed to meet his expectations in the kitchen, the cafeteria manager would threaten him with unemployment. Sometimes he would use his fists to make Smith take on more duties or to work faster in the serving line.

Smith also declared that Edwards would frequently use racial slurs when talking to him. And, apparently, Edwards’ hate for his mentally challenged employee was so deep-rooted, that he would burn his back with hot tongs.

Conclusion

And now, the former cafeteria manager waits for the jury’s verdict. If he’s found guilty, he could very well spend the next 20 years behind bars. Based on the verdict, the court could also order him to pay a $250,000 fine.

hot coffee

The customer who threw hot coffee thought the beverage was pricey.

Lacey Police Department is currently on the lookout for an individual who assaulted a McDonald’s manager on Friday morning. According to the police report, the man threw hot coffee in the female employee’s face because he thought the beverage was overpriced.

Man Who Threw Hot Coffee Believed to Be Homeless

According to a Lacey Police Department spokesperson, on Friday morning, a McDonald’s employee had to be taken to the hospital after being attacked by an irked customer.

The restaurant’s surveillance camera captured the moments before and after the assault. Early in the morning, the individual could be seen walking into the restaurant and approaching the counter, where the female employee was standing.

The unidentified female manager told the authorities that the individual asked for a cup of hot coffee. She can be seen on camera moving toward the espresso machine to prepare the man’s order. All this time, the individual kept looking at her.

The woman returned with the man’s order and told him that he has to pay $.97 for the coffee. Apparently, this did not bode well with the individual, who later emptied the cup’s content in a travel-size mug.

Next, the suspect handed the employee the travel-size mug, asking for a refill. She refused. He then handed her the empty plastic mug. Again, the female employee refused to fill his cup.

Conclusion

That’s when things really got out of hands. The surveillance camera shows how the individual throws the hot coffee in the female employee’s face. He bolted before the authorities arrived.

Based on the video recordings and the victim’s testimony, the individual could be in his late 40s or 50s. When he was last seen, he was carrying a large brown duffel bag. The suspect wore a blue polar, white pants, and a gray snow cap.

prison cell

Jeffrey Lynn Borden, an Alabama death row inmate, was found dead in his cell.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – An Alabama Department of Corrections spokesperson recently confirmed that Jeffrey Lynn Borden, a death row inmate scheduled to be executed this month, was found dead in his cell on Sunday. Prison officials declared that Borden hanged himself with a bedsheet.

Death Row Inmate Spent the Last 25 Years in Prison

On Sunday morning, an Alabama correctional officer discovered the lifeless body of 57-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Borden, an inmate who’s been on death row since 1995.

Allegedly, the night before his suicide, Borden fashioned a noose using his bedsheet and on Sunday used it to take his own life.

Death was pronounced at the scene and Borden’s body later taken to Alabama’s Department of Forensic Science for a post-mortem examination.

According to the Alabama Department of Corrections spokesperson, Borden was sentenced to death for the murders of Cheryl Borden, his estranged wife, and Roland Harris, Cheryl’s father. Both murders occurred in 1993 during a family gathering.

Based on court documents, on Christmas Eve 1993, Jeffrey Borden took his wife and three children to his in-laws’ Gardendale home. Prior to the trip, Cheryl had informed Borden of her intention to move in with her family.

At one point during the family gathering, Jeffrey, Cheryl, Roland, and the three children went to Jeffrey’s car to retrieve several items.

While Cheryl moved some cardboard boxes in the back of the vehicle, the death row inmate whipped out his gun, shooting his estranged wife in the back of the head. Roland received a similar gunshot wound while he was running away.

Conclusion

According to the police report, the death row inmate executed Cheryl and her father in front of his children.

Borden was found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder in 1995 and sentenced to death.

New York Man Had 6.6 Million Pictures of Child Pornography in His Home

June 4, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

storage devices

The New York man stored 6.6 million pictures and movies of child pornography on 24 devices.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – During a recent police action, New York authorities seized the largest stash of child pornography in the history of the county. On Friday, the Suffolk County District attorney said that the ‘sick’ individual possessed over 6 million images of child erotica and pornographic material.

New York Organized His Child Pornography Collection

Timothy Sini, Suffolk County District Attorney, declared during Friday’s press conference that a 58-year-old New York had been arrested on the 14th of May and charged with child pornography possession.

Sini noted that the detectives working the case were disgusted by how the individual curated his collection.

On the 14th of May, the authorities served a house search warrant in Amityville. The home belongs to David Johnson, 58.

Inside, the authorities discovered what Sini would later call the largest collection of child pornography in the history of the county. On 24 electronic devices, the New York man had stored 6.6 million images and videos of child rape and erotica.

Probably the most repulsive discovery was Johnsons’ way of organizing and cataloging his collection.

As Sini revealed, the disturbed individual was so taken aback by the material that he spent days or weeks organizing the pictures and movies by race, age, sex, and other characteristics.

Furthermore, as Sini pointed out on Friday, Johnson even sorted out his collection by victims wearing glasses.

Johnson arrested came shortly after a parent called 911 to report the individual’s suspicious behavior.

Conclusion

The preliminary investigation revealed that the 58-year-old New York man hadn’t had any contact with children and did not distribute the material in question.

Johnson was charged with 200 of child pornography possession and booked into jail. If sentenced, the New York man could spend the next 15 years behind bars.

Captain Kirk Caught Masturbating in Clearwater Bus Stop

May 31, 2018 By Adam Martin Leave a Comment

Man claiming to be Captain Kirk was arrested for lewd behavior.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Because it’s odd day Thursday, we give you the story of a 56-year-old Clearwater resident who was caught masturbating on a bus stop bench. Nothing odd about this, except for the fact that the ‘gentleman’ in question told the police that he’s Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the USS Enterprise.

Captain Kirk Told Arresting Officers That He Was Dealing with an Itch

According to a Clearwater Police Department spokesperson, on Monday, the department received a call from a person who claimed to see a man engaging in lewd behavior.

Several minutes later, the authorities arrived at a nearby bus stop, just in time to see a man sitting on the bench with his hand stuck in his pants.

When a police officer asked the individual what he was doing, the man told him that he was just feeling an itch down there and that he was trying to scratch it away. However, as the authorities pointed out, the suspect was clearly touching himself.

Even with cops standing right next to him, the suspect continued to mind his own business. He eventually stopped after the police officers handcuffed him.

Now, this is where it gets really interesting. When the cops asked for his name, the suspect told him that he’s Captain Kirk, the protagonist of the Star Trek series.

Not in the least impressed by the man’s wild claims, the law enforcement officers arrested him.

The individual, who was later identified as James Bundrick, a 56-year-old Georgia resident, was charged the same day with providing a false name to law enforcement and disorderly conduct. He was booked in the county jail on a $400 bond.

Conclusion

Apparently, this wasn’t Bundrick’s first run-in with the law. According to police records, the man served a 3-year prison sentence for making fake bomb threats.

May 30, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

The South Carolina mother placed the baby’s body in a similar diaper box.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE- A 19-year-old South Carolina mother was recently arrested shortly after detectives found out that the woman has been lying about her child being abducted. The woman, who was charged with filing a fake police report, told the authorities that a white man wearing gloves ran away with her 11-month-old daughter, who was later found dead.

South Carolina Mother Refused to Say How the Toddler Died

On Tuesday, South Carolina authorities took 19-year-old Breanna Lewis into custody on suspicion of homicide.

According to the police report, the authorities issued a state-wide Amber Alert at approximately 4:00 a.m. following a call received from the South Carolina mother.

Lewis told the authorities that she was in front of the house, emptying her mailbox when an individual approached her from behind and punched her in the head.

Moreover, Lewis recalled that her assailant was wearing a black coat, white gloves, and driving a gold SUV.

Shortly after Lewis’ claimed that the individual kidnapped Harlee Lewis, her 11-month-old child, a police task force combed the county in search of the child. The Amber Alert was canceled later that day when the detectives realized that the woman must have been lying.

Jay Brooks, Chesterfield County Sheriff, declared that Lewis was arrested after his deputies found the infant’s body roughly 1,000 yards from Lewis’ home.

Conclusion

The deputies on scene said that the infant’s body was deposited in an empty diaper box. The South Carolina mother was arrested and charged with filing a fake police report.

According to Sheriff Brooks, Lewis’ charges could be later upgraded to first-degree murder and/or tampering with evidence. Pending the outcome of the investigation, Lewis was booked into the county prison.

The South Carolina mother refused to tell the authorities about how the infant died.

US Televangelist Asks for Donations to Purchase New Private Jet

May 29, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Because God works in mysterious ways, we give you the story of a Louisiana-based televangelist who only recently reached out to his flock to fulfill God’s works. And, as chance has it, in this case, God’s work refers to buying off a $54 million private jet that “flies non-stop.”

US Televangelist Says He Owned Three Jets

Meet Jesse Duplantis, a 68-year-old Christian minister from Destrehan, a stone’s throw away from New Orleans. Mr. Duplantis’ favorite activities include preaching the word of the Lord and traveling around the world for even more preaching.

Following in the steps of Jesus, the US televangelist often travels to other parts of the world to do what he does best.

However, lately, Duplantis has hit a rough patch, travel-wise. As the Louisiana tele-preacher put it, flight companies are demons, and the only reasonable way to get around when one’s pressed by his schedule is to have your very own private jet, fueled and ready to go.

During a recent press appearance, the Christian minister told the reporter that he owned three private jets, courtesy of his flock, and, to this day, he managed to avoid those busy and ‘unclean’ airport ques.

Still, the US televangelist argues that there’s room for improvement. As a result, he recently reached out to all members of his church to give from the heart.

Duplantis confessed that he had eyeballed the Dassault Falcon 7X jet for some time. And with a ride like that, spreading the word of God would be a piece of pie, as Duplantis claimed.

Conclusion

The reason why Jesse Duplantis wants the $54 million jet is as astonishing as the idea of a church minister having his private ride – because it requires fewer stops for refueling.

According to the US televangelist, he often needed to stop for gas with the other jets. With this one, Duplantis claims that he can travel around the world without having to stop.
