Misfit releases Shine 2 for $99.
Misfit tech giant just announced that starting on the 1st of November this year, they will make available a new generation of smart watches. Misfit releases Shine 2 tracker and the price for this little tech gem is only $99, 99. The Shine 2 watch is now available for purchase from the official Misfit Website and it comes in two colors: rose gold and carbon black.
Shine 2 comes also with a few noteworthy upgrades. The overall design features a sleek, 8 by 3.3 mm, coin-like smart watch that is equipped with a capacitive touch sensor to allow the user to better control the device. Among the standard software for monitoring both sleep cycles and fitness performance, Shine 2 comes in with other features as well.
Basically, what you have in front of you is a device capable of interacting with any smart device you have around the house. You can use it to take selfies by tying it to an external device, like a smart phone, tablet or camera, listen to your favorite music, and browse leisurely on the internet. More than that, if your house is equipped with smart devices, you can use this little helper in order to interact with them.
Misfit also packed some pretty nifty features in the new Shine 2. It will include multi-color LEDs and even animations. Now the watch will be able to motor your fitness performances and bring you the results in rainbow-like colors. Other features include a 3-axis accelerometer and even a magnetometer.
With the aid of the Bluetooth 4.1 technology, now connecting to external devices will be a piece of cake.
Director of Mechanical Design at Misfit, Adam Mack, said that the new Bluetooth technology incorporated in the new Shine 2 watch will be compatible with Misfit’s iOS application and will also support the Misfit Link application.
When questioned about the philosophy behind the sleek new watch, Adam Mack said that the company wants to deliver the customer a new and upgraded version of the watch without having to make any compromises regarding the quality of craftsmanship. He also added that the developing team did not spare the battery life in expense of design.
Shine 2 comes also equipped with a vibration motor, which can better deliver all important notifications to the user. Shine 2 represents another step we take on the road of adapting technology to our everyday life.
