An Indiana mental health therapist could be charged with attempted murder after dragging a male nail salon employee.
COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Indiana authorities arrested a 28-year-old mental health therapist on Monday who, allegedly, attempted to kill a nail salon employee. According to the police report, the male employee was dragged several meters after being hit by the accused’s car.
Mental Health Therapist Unhappy With the Salon’s Services
Charley Fowler is a 28-year-old woman from Valparaiso, Indiana who recently has been involved in a peculiar incident.
According to the police report, on Monday, Fowler, who’s a mental health therapist, went to the Diamond Nails & Spa for a manicure.
A salon employee told the authorities that Ms. Fowler became rather upset after having her nails done. The woman allegedly told another Diamond Nails & Spa employee that she’s not happy with her nails.
Apparently, she took off even though the salon worker offered to redo her nails. The woman didn’t even bother to pay the $30 for the nail job.
Allegedly, one of the salon’s employees called the authorities when the woman stepped out of the establishment without paying the fee.
Once outside, the mental health therapist got into her car and began backing up. Now, according to the woman’s claims, one of the employees caught up with her and banged on the window, and that was to be the end of the story.
However, Indiana authorities established that the woman’s recollection of Monday’s event is ‘slightly’ different from what actually happened.
According to the authorities, the salon’s surveillance footage captured Fowler backing up her car, totally oblivious to the fact that a male employee was behind it.
Conclusion
What she claimed to be a short car trip to the nearby restaurant was actually attempted murder because the man got caught underneath Fowler’s car and dragged several meters.
The woman was later taken into custody and charged.
