Lyft makes things easier for their users by adding extra stops to your ride

 

We all have been there. Is the middle of the night, you and your friend were at a party and both of you decide to go home. The problem is that you want to share a cab as you are going in the same direction. If you have ever used an app, you know this thing was not possible. Well, things changed as Lyft announced they are going to make things easier for their users by adding extra stops to our ride.

So this new feature will inform the driver if  users want extra stops, before they are picked up. This way, you and your friend can go together while the driver will know how many stops is he going to do. You will be able to drop off a friend at their house or go to the store for a cup of coffee, no matter the destination.

There are so many times when we want to take a cab, but we have to stop along the trip and we fear that the driver will disagree. Now you have no need to worry about that. It is cheaper and more comfortable to go with your friends rather than request a Lyft for each one of you. Moreover, there are times when cabs are hard to find and it would be easier for you to share a ride.

So how do we use the app if we want extra stops?  You should select Plus or Premier Lyft car and then enter the pick-up location. After that, you should enter the first drop-off and tap on the plus sign icon which can be seen on the right. Moreover, you can choose to add another stop while you are already in the cab and the app will update in a second. Of course, you can also remove a stop if you changed your mind.  We are sure that Lyft’s customers will be happier. Furthermore, drivers will be more satisfied too, as they will already know where they are supposed to go.

Even though Lyft is releasing this new feature,  Uber is still the most popular app people use when they want a cab. What do you think? Will Lyft be able to take over Uber with this new feature? Which one of them are you using often?
