Zara-owner Indetix reported a good news to its investors as it experienced higher sales for the month of November 2014 an early December 2014. What helped Indetix to achieve better sales results is the company’s fast-changing fashion collections. Compared to many European company rivals, Indetix coped better with mild weather. This season is definitely the company’s season to shine.
The stronger sales performance of the company came after the better-than-anticipated increase in its revenue during nine months ended 31st of October 2014. The strong sales performance of Indetix improved its shares by more than three percent even with the small decline in margins of the company during the period.
Most European fashion brands were hit by the unusually warm autumn. This unexpected warmness during the autumn season caused the demand for boots, winter coats and other autumn items to be weak. That is why it is not a surprise to know many companies from the fashion industry in Europe are struggling at this very moment.
Zara-owner Indetix is very lucky to have been spared from the crisis due to the unusual weather. In fact, they even gained better sales. They also managed to improve the price of their shares, which is definitely a good thing to both the company and the investors.
