During this year’s Gamescom, THQ Nordic released an extended gameplay trailer for the upcoming title Biomutant. The 11-minute video might seem a little too long, but it deserves watching, as it’s better than all the other previously released videos. It accurately sums up everything that Biomutant is about.
Biomutant benefits from a long but complete trailer
If you are a fan of more concise trailers, you might find this one a bit tiring. However, compressing all the action and gameplay tricks in fewer minutes would have left out important aspects of Biomutant. Therefore, THQ Nordic took the best decision when they decided to release this comprehensive video.
If you watched previous Biomutant trailers, you must already be familiar with what you can do in the game. The new video applies all these mechanics and shows the fluidity of the gameplay. What you will have to do would be to shoot smaller monsters and get the arena ready for the fight with the bigger ones.
Impressive mechanics and comic book atmosphere
The trailer also shows us the mechanical capabilities of the hero. It surprises us with his agility, as it can jump and roll from one place to another, and easily switch between different kinds of weapons. He can juggle with objects, fling them up in the air, and artfully catch them, or even throw them at the monsters and hit them.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t decipher the complexity of the combo system. However, given all the complex moves the character can perform, it will definitely not disappoint you. Also, the fights will get more enjoyable, as they are accompanied by sound and visual effects resembling comic book combats.
If you haven’t been convinced by Biomutant so far, watching this trailer should definitely make you excited and impatient. THQ Nordic didn’t reveal any official release date, but it should be some time in 2018. Also, it will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
