On Monday, Drew Peterson appeared in court as his attorney says his client has nothing to do with a murder-for-hire, and the charge is merely ‘absurd’. Peterson is in prison due to a with a murder-for-hire charge, accusing him of soliciting a person to kill James Glasgow, state attorney of Will County, who helped put Peterson in prison.
Peterson’s attorney, Steven Greenberg said the charge against his client is a “bit absurd”, although the 61-year-old client did not enter a plea. Peterson was convicted in 2012 of a murder charge, accusing him of drowning Kathleen Savio, his third wife. Her death was ruled an accident. However, Savio’s body was exhumed, and then her death was ruled a homicide after Stacey Peterson, Drew’s fourth wife disappeared in 2007.
