China is developing into a bigger space power, planning to launch space station in 2024.
China is assumed to become a great space power, taking over the cosmos with the development of a Chinese Space Station. China will take the lead of space industry with its new and revolutionary ideas. This new space station will become functional after the withdrawal of the International Space Station (ISS). The ISS was the most significant space laboratory ever existing. Unfortunately, specialists estimate this immense artificial lab will retire by the end of 2024.
As we all know, China is very competitive and its desire to become the next space giant will not remain only a dream. The question which rises after this declaration is that this will be the only country to have launched a space station up there in the atmosphere until 2024. The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) had already started developing the new space station which is bound to be ready until 2024. If things work as planned, then the next studies and researches will be based on the help of this new space power.
The stages of preparation are constituted by the launch of Tiangong-2 and Tiangong-1 space modules. Unfortunately, China has lost its contact with Tiangong-1, but as far as they know Tiangong-2 has been successfully launched on September 14. Another module is soon to be initiated by the Chinese people, it is called the Tianhe-1. This space module will leave our atmosphere in 2018. It will be launched by the most powerful rocket ever build by the Chinese, also known as Long March 5.
Based on other Chinese space agencies, multiple launches related to the space station will be planned for the years to come. The most considerable part is the one when two lab modules and a core one will be unveiled, setting into space. According to some reports made by Chinese officials, the enormous part of the station which weights 20 tons will be placed into orbit in 2022.
Other significant details which are already known to the space station regard the altitude and the life span of the artificial laboratory. It will rise to four hundred kilometers above the Earth, orbiting the planet. It is assumed to work for ten years. China has started developing this plan back in 1992. After witnessing Russia’s success, they managed to develop their project step by step.
Are you curious if other impressive powers of the world are to express a different attitude concerning this matter?
