The truth about C-Sections said by a new mother
There have always been women who said that C-sections are an easier way to give birth and a real woman should be able to do it in the traditional way. The truth is that any option you choose can be hard. Raya Lee, a brave new mother, decided to tell what is like to have a C-section and how hard it was for her.
First of all, we have to say that this topic was not so popular among the news for some years. However, social media networks help people express their feelings and that is why topics like C-section or breastfeeding in public are now more popular than ever. Many women say that mothers who do not give birth in a natural way do not have anything to complain about. Raya Lee explained how she was prepared for this surgery because her baby’s life was in danger. Her experience was so different from what she imagined things will look like.
Her child was in danger so doctors decided that C-section is the only chance that child could have. Here is what Raya said: “the incision was only 5 inches long, but is cut and shredded and pulled until it rips apart through all of your layers of fat, muscle, and organs (which they lay on the table next to your body, in order to continue to cut until they reach your child)”. Can you imagine how hard was for her?
For many women, this surgery is the most painful thing they experience all their lives. The recovery is not always so easy, especially in the first days after the baby is born. They are not able to sit as they should or do many things because the body needs to repair itself and sometimes this takes more than a week.
There are doctors that think that a C-section is more dangerous than a natural birth. During a surgery, there a lot of things that could happen and sometimes doctors can’t save the patient. What is really important to understand is that there are women need this surgery because it’s the only way they can give birth to their child. There are not weaker, they just want to be safe or they do not have any other chance. We are hoping more people will understand this and every mother will be treated with respect because they are warriors for giving us life.
