Batman Getting Unmasked By Superman
Batman v Superman has finally earned its reputation among those who are expecting it, but especially among those who don’t. Batman getting unmasked by Superman is a big thing, especially in front of other people. But the major issue that every fan is enduring right now is knowing where this piece of the puzzle fits. There have been many theories circulating as to how the Batman v Superman storyline would develop and knowing them is what actually teases all the fans.
First of all, there is a great question mark as to why Batman is fighting along army men. Is the situation so tense on ground that Batman has to personally involve himself in army business? From the DC comics we know that Batman’s closest influence to the army is usually Amanda Waller, who then makes the appropriate moves. But this situation cannot slide without the Dark Knight’s personal interference, which doesn’t seem to end well.
Then there is the moment when Superman lands and everybody starts bowing before him. That’s weird. And definitely not the vibe that Clark would have ever wanted to show. But it does happen and this is where all the theories come colliding on each other. Is Clark under mind control? Is he controlled but Luthor via some sort of Kryptonite compound, or has Clark been put in some emotional situation that forces him to be like this?
The theories mostly revolve around two crucial points. One is depicted in the trailer, with a piece of Kryptonite revealed and Luthor holding his hand over the Man of Steel and the other moment is actually highlighted in a DC game in which the Joker practically kills Lois Lane. These are the two most debated moments that could set Clark on a darker path.
If Luthor is controlling Superman in any way, then it is truly up to Batman to save the day. If Lois’ life has been endangered, then we can expect Clark to join the dark side in the pursuit to save the woman he loves. But the latter situation would require some tweaking, especially since (at least we think so) there will be no Joker in involved in Batman v Superman. If the Joker is going to appear at any point, he will not have a pivotal role. He is just going to be a teaser.
Batman getting unmasked by Superman is a big thing, way too big to be ignored. So the wait continues until 2016.
