Grocery store customer horrified by the schizophrenic Oregon man holding his mother’s head.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Joshua Lee Webb, the 37-year-old schizophrenic Oregon man who was seen walking into a grocery store with his mother’s severed head, has been committed to a mental facility. On Tuesday, an Oregon jury found him guilty of homicide by reason of insanity.

Schizophrenic Oregon Man Was Catatonic When Cops Found Him

According to the incident report, on the 14th of May 2017, a Colton grocery shop client called the emergency line to report seeing a man carrying something that looked like a severed human head.

When the authorities arrived at the grocery store, they saw Webb standing in the middle of the store with a woman’s decapitated head in his right head, and a knife in the other. He was taken into custody without incident.

The arresting officers who testified during Webb’s trial declared that the man appeared to be in a catatonic state. Moreover, the hospital staff who treated Webb said that the suspect remained in this state for several hours after admission. Reportedly, after a while, Webb could be heard telling a member of the staff that he had a good nap.

Around the same hour the grocery store clerk called the authorities, Sarah Morris-White, Webb’s sister, dialed the emergency number to report a homicide.

According to the woman’s testimony, she entered the house to visit Tina Webb, her mother, only to find her headless corpse.

Eventually, the schizophrenic Oregon man confessed to killing his mother and her dog. Webb also told the authorities that he tried to stab a grocery store customer.

Conclusion

On Tuesday, an Oregon jury found him guilty of murder by reason of insanity. Webb will be committed to a psychiatric facility for treatment. Although he could be eligible for parole if the hospital’s boards decided so, he’ll be under strict supervision for the remainder of his life.

Ohio Man Shows Driver’s License to Bank Teller During Armed Robbery

Clever bank teller convinced Ohio man to use his driver’s license during armed robbery.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – And this week’s worst criminal award goes to a 51-year-old man from Ohio who, apparently, showed his ID to a bank teller during an armed robbery. The authorities used the man’s credentials to track him down and to arrest him.

Armed Robbery Goes Sideway as Criminal Gives Driver’s License to Teller

Because brawns aren’t everything when it comes to being a criminal, we give you the story of David Menser, a 51-year-old man from Ohio and, apparently, a prolific bank robber.

Mr. Menser came to the police’s attention a while ago, after employees from four different Columbus bank reported the same perpetrator.

Brad Thomas, a detective at the Columbus Division of Police, declared that after committing each robbery, the suspect fled the crime scene in a white van. The latest robbery, which occurred on the 4th of June, comes to prove that Mr. Menser lacks imagination when it comes to covering up his tracks.

The bank teller involved in Menser’s latest heist told the authorities that the suspect entered the bank, approached him, and passed a handwritten note.

In the note, Menser wrote that that was a robbery, and ‘kindly’ asked the teller to place all the money in a plastic bag. Instead of placing all the money in a bag, the bank teller gave him only a stack of cash and told him that he must withdraw the rest from a machine located in the lobby. Menser took the bait.

Conclusion

While at the money machine, the bank teller told Menser that the system requires a valid driver’s license to make a withdrawal. Without even thinking it through, Menser handed over his driver’s license. He took the rest of the money and left.

He was taken into custody on the 15th of June. Detective Thomas said that this isn’t the first armed robbery of this kind.

Mental Health Therapist Hits Nail Salon Worker with Car Over Botched Manicure

June 20, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

nail salon

An Indiana mental health therapist could be charged with attempted murder after dragging a male nail salon employee.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Indiana authorities arrested a 28-year-old mental health therapist on Monday who, allegedly, attempted to kill a nail salon employee. According to the police report, the male employee was dragged several meters after being hit by the accused’s car.

Mental Health Therapist Unhappy With the Salon’s Services

Charley Fowler is a 28-year-old woman from Valparaiso, Indiana who recently has been involved in a peculiar incident.

According to the police report, on Monday, Fowler, who’s a mental health therapist, went to the Diamond Nails & Spa for a manicure.

A salon employee told the authorities that Ms. Fowler became rather upset after having her nails done. The woman allegedly told another Diamond Nails & Spa employee that she’s not happy with her nails.

Apparently, she took off even though the salon worker offered to redo her nails. The woman didn’t even bother to pay the $30 for the nail job.

Allegedly, one of the salon’s employees called the authorities when the woman stepped out of the establishment without paying the fee.

Once outside, the mental health therapist got into her car and began backing up. Now, according to the woman’s claims, one of the employees caught up with her and banged on the window, and that was to be the end of the story.

However, Indiana authorities established that the woman’s recollection of Monday’s event is ‘slightly’ different from what actually happened.

According to the authorities, the salon’s surveillance footage captured Fowler backing up her car, totally oblivious to the fact that a male employee was behind it.

Conclusion

What she claimed to be a short car trip to the nearby restaurant was actually attempted murder because the man got caught underneath Fowler’s car and dragged several meters.

The woman was later taken into custody and charged.

UK and Germany Biologists Closer to Understanding How Two-Way Communication Works in the Animal Kingdom

June 6, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

Songbirds

Scientist noted that songbirds and whales have strict rules of communication.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – A team of British and German biologists reported that we are close to closing the communication gap between human and animal. In a recently published study, the team showed that animals, like humans, have strict communicational rules and they love ‘chatting.’

Communication Must Abide by Strict Rules, Researchers Noted

Because understanding what animals are has been a noble pursuit since the dawn of time, researchers from all over the world have attempted to find similarities between how animals and humans talk.

A noteworthy endeavor indeed, but not a futile one according to a joint team of biologists from Germany and the United Kingdom.

In a study, which was recently published in the journal Royal Society B: Biological Sciences, the researchers noted that there are core similarities between how human and animals employ communication.

For instance, we humans dread interruption in a two-way conversation. Animals are not that different from this point a view. The team noted that while studying black-capped chickadees and European starlings, they’ve observed that the birds would fly away or stopped chirping if they were interrupted while ‘talking.’

Furthermore, based on their field-notes, it would appear that turn-taking is another common denominator between animals and humans.

As observed in songbirds, ‘replies’ come after 50 milliseconds, but they never overlap. Timing-wise, the British and German team noted subtle difference between species. Whereas sperm whales reply typically after 50 milliseconds, humans would speak their mind after 200 milliseconds.

Conclusion

Dr. Robin Kendrick, a professor of linguistics at York University’s Department of Language and Linguistic Science, declared that this breakthrough in animal communication could help him and his team to lay out a language framework – a system that allows scientist to compare and ultimately decipher signs and similarities in animal communication.

May 30, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

The South Carolina mother placed the baby’s body in a similar diaper box.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE- A 19-year-old South Carolina mother was recently arrested shortly after detectives found out that the woman has been lying about her child being abducted. The woman, who was charged with filing a fake police report, told the authorities that a white man wearing gloves ran away with her 11-month-old daughter, who was later found dead.

South Carolina Mother Refused to Say How the Toddler Died

On Tuesday, South Carolina authorities took 19-year-old Breanna Lewis into custody on suspicion of homicide.

According to the police report, the authorities issued a state-wide Amber Alert at approximately 4:00 a.m. following a call received from the South Carolina mother.

Lewis told the authorities that she was in front of the house, emptying her mailbox when an individual approached her from behind and punched her in the head.

Moreover, Lewis recalled that her assailant was wearing a black coat, white gloves, and driving a gold SUV.

Shortly after Lewis’ claimed that the individual kidnapped Harlee Lewis, her 11-month-old child, a police task force combed the county in search of the child. The Amber Alert was canceled later that day when the detectives realized that the woman must have been lying.

Jay Brooks, Chesterfield County Sheriff, declared that Lewis was arrested after his deputies found the infant’s body roughly 1,000 yards from Lewis’ home.

Conclusion

The deputies on scene said that the infant’s body was deposited in an empty diaper box. The South Carolina mother was arrested and charged with filing a fake police report.

According to Sheriff Brooks, Lewis’ charges could be later upgraded to first-degree murder and/or tampering with evidence. Pending the outcome of the investigation, Lewis was booked into the county prison.

The South Carolina mother refused to tell the authorities about how the infant died.

US Televangelist Asks for Donations to Purchase New Private Jet

May 29, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Because God works in mysterious ways, we give you the story of a Louisiana-based televangelist who only recently reached out to his flock to fulfill God’s works. And, as chance has it, in this case, God’s work refers to buying off a $54 million private jet that “flies non-stop.”

US Televangelist Says He Owned Three Jets

Meet Jesse Duplantis, a 68-year-old Christian minister from Destrehan, a stone’s throw away from New Orleans. Mr. Duplantis’ favorite activities include preaching the word of the Lord and traveling around the world for even more preaching.

Following in the steps of Jesus, the US televangelist often travels to other parts of the world to do what he does best.

However, lately, Duplantis has hit a rough patch, travel-wise. As the Louisiana tele-preacher put it, flight companies are demons, and the only reasonable way to get around when one’s pressed by his schedule is to have your very own private jet, fueled and ready to go.

During a recent press appearance, the Christian minister told the reporter that he owned three private jets, courtesy of his flock, and, to this day, he managed to avoid those busy and ‘unclean’ airport ques.

Still, the US televangelist argues that there’s room for improvement. As a result, he recently reached out to all members of his church to give from the heart.

Duplantis confessed that he had eyeballed the Dassault Falcon 7X jet for some time. And with a ride like that, spreading the word of God would be a piece of pie, as Duplantis claimed.

Conclusion

The reason why Jesse Duplantis wants the $54 million jet is as astonishing as the idea of a church minister having his private ride – because it requires fewer stops for refueling.

According to the US televangelist, he often needed to stop for gas with the other jets. With this one, Duplantis claims that he can travel around the world without having to stop.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – South Florida police rescued a mother and two children on Saturday. According to the police report, the paranoid woman climbed a ledge with her two children, threatening to commit suicide. The woman was later committed to a psychiatric facility for evaluation.

Paranoid Woman Called Officer Who Climbed Ledge, a ‘Body Avenger’

On Saturday afternoon, a Delray Beach Police Department received multiple calls from people who claimed to see a woman and two children standing on a garage’s roof.

Upon arriving at the location, the first responders identified a woman experiencing some type of psychotic episode and two small children standing close to a ledge, approximately 15-50 feet off the ground.

Rob Addea, one of the first responders on the scene, declared that the woman refused to come down from the ledge, as she furiously clanged to her 3-year-old girl.

Thus, Addea positioned himself underneath the ledge to be able to catch the woman or any of the children. Addea was not allowed but accompanied by Officer Mark Warne.

The incident was captured on tape and uploaded Delray Beach Police Department’s Facebook on Wednesday. Before Sergeants Mike Debree and Brian Griffith could gain access to the ledge, Addea attempted to reason with the paranoid woman. He could be heard in the video telling her to take her children back inside.

Meanwhile, having gained access to the ledge, Griffith carefully approached the woman, while his colleague led the children inside.+

Conclusion

While trying to gain the woman’s trust by saying he’s a police officer, the paranoid woman asked Griffith to show his badge. The man took out his badge, but the woman kept telling him that nowhere on his badge was ‘sergeant’ written and that he probably was a ‘body avenger.’

After several tense minutes, Griffith convinced the woman to come down. She was later taken to a psychiatric facility for evaluation.

The Vancouver teen shot her Sugar Daddy in the stomach.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Last week, Vancouver authorities arrested a 15-year-old girl and charged her with armed robbery. Based on the police report, the Vancouver teen shot a 56-year-old man inside his Washington County home before robbing several homeowners at gunpoint. The victim is expected to survive.

Vancouver Teen Shot Man She Met on Sugar Daddy Website

Raelyn Domingo, a 15-year-old teenager from Vancouver, was arrested on Wednesday shortly after Washington County authorities responded to a shooting.

According to the police report, Domingo was involved with Thomas Licata, a 56-year-old Washington County resident.

The two met each other via SeekingArrangement.com, a website for Sugar Babies and Sugar Daddies. Using a fake name, Domingo convinced Licata to meet at his house.

According to the man’s testimony, Samantha aka Raelyn Domingo came at his house on the 11th of May. Thomas allegedly gave $260 and seltzer to the Vancouver teen and even allowed her to use his vape pen.

Samantha then told Thomas that she needed to use the restroom. After getting back in the room, Domingo drew out a gun and shot Thomas in the stomach. Before leaving, the Vancouver teen asked for more money.

Before her arrest, Domingo and three of her male friends robbed several homeowners at gunpoint.

Licata was transported to the hospital. The doctors declared that Thomas would recover.

Meanwhile, the authorities have decided not to file charges against Thomas, who claimed that he approached Domingo because he thought that she was at least 20.

Conclusion

The authorities took Domingo into custody after one of the homeowners she and her accomplices robbed saw them leaving in a gray sedan.

At the moment, the Vancouver teen is at the Clark County Juvenile Justice Center. She will be extradited to Washington, where she will be charged with arm robbery and attempted murder.

Warren Father Arrested for Sexually Abusing Daughter, Fathering Child

May 15, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

The Warren father ‘donated’ a cup of his semen to his daughter.

COUNCIL CHRONICLE – Last week, a Warren father was arrested and charged after his 20-year-old daughter told the police that the man molested her. According to the police report, the 37-year-old suspect fathered a boy with her daughter. His aunt claims that the man has been abusing his daughter for years.

Warren Father Claimed Giving Her Daughter a Cup of Semen

Gregory St. Andre of Warren, Michigan will appear on Monday before a Mont Clemens judge to answer for two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. St. Andre’s wife has filed separately for divorce.

Michelle Truszkowski, St. Andre’s aunt, told a local news outlet that this isn’t her nephew’s first run-in with the law.

The Warren father’s estranged wife told the investigators that St. Andre had deliberately ignored a no-contact court order she obtained last year.

St. Andre’s phone records and online history suggest that he’s been harassing the family, especially his 20-year-old daughter and the woman’s boyfriend.

The man’s deviant behavior came to light after his daughter contacted the authorities in later February.

According to the woman’s testimony, her father sexually assaulted her. The unfortunate outcome of St. Andre’s twisted fatherly affection was a child. Police reports suggest that the woman gave birth at the beginning of February.

The woman’s claims were later corroborated by St. Andre’s aunt’s testimony. Truszkowski told the detectives that her nephew has been molesting his daughter for years.

Conclusion

When confronted with the allegations, the Warren father declared that he never touched his daughter that way but never denied being the father of the woman’s child.

Instead, St. Andre told the authorities that he ‘willingly’ gave her daughter a cup of his semen, but never found out what she did with it.

The individual is currently booked into the county prison on a $60,000 bond.

May 10, 2018 By Dustin Smith Leave a Comment

New York Couple Arrested

The New York couple managed to collect several thousand before being arrested.

On Monday, the New York authorities arrested Port Byron couple who faked their child’s cancer to collect online donations.  According to the police report, the two suspects claimed that their son was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition and subsequently launched a GoFundMe campaign.

New York Couple Collected Thousands of Dollars from Donations

Following a time-consuming investigation, the New York law enforcement officers arrested Jolene and Martin LaFrance, both 35. The Port Byron couple was charged with first-degree scheme to defraud and endangering a child’s welfare.

Based on the police report, the New York couple discovered several months ago that donations websites such as GoFundMe could be a gold mine if one knows what buttons to press.

Thus, Martian and Jolene launched a GoFundMe campaign for their son. The heartfelt message read that their child was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and that they can’t afford the treatment.

Weeks after launching the campaign, the New York couple cashes in at least several thousand.

Meanwhile, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office launched an inquiry into the couple’s claims. The investigation later revealed that the couple’s child was never diagnosed with cancer nor other illnesses.

After being arrested, the couple confessed to faking the GoFundMe profile because “it was easy money.”

Conclusion

Following the confession, they were charged with one count each of first-degree scheme to defraud and endangering the welfare of a child.

Subsequently, the couple’s GoFundMe account has been banned. A website spokesperson declared that all who contributed would get their money back.

Although people like the LaFrance family believe that people can be swindled with a sob story, the GoFundMe spokesperson argued that such occurrences are very rare.

The New York couple was booked into prison and will return to court on the 16th of May.
