Due to an unusual odor that spread in a cockpit, American Airlines flight pilots from Dallas decided to make an emergency landing just 45 minutes right after takeoff.
The Irving operated regional jet was coming from Dallas-Fort Worth travelling to Cedar Rapids in Iowa. It was then rerouted to Tulsa.
American flight 3235 DI land safely in Tulsa and 63 passengers and crew were transported to the terminal.
Alexis Higgins, a spokeswoman for Tulsa International Airport stated that passengers were then allowed to exit, where responders made sure all passengers were OK and then provided transportation.
The airplane was eventually was examined by mechanics and the airline made all efforts in making sure all the passengers reach their original destination.
