Anti-Abortion Groups Expect Action From Trump

Anti-abortion groups are expecting a lot of changes to be made by president-elect Donald Trump. These organizations want to change the federal abortion policy as soon as possible. These anti-abortion groups expect to see some changes when it comes to abortion policy because this is why they voted him.

One of the actions that these groups want to see is the removal of ObamaCare requirements that include the religious organization to cover for contraceptives in the insurance plans. Other actions that these people want are for the funds for Planned Parenthood to be cut and to prevent foreign aid dollars to be used for abortions.

The anti-abortion groups also are known as pro-lifers have had a hard relationship since in 1999 Donald Trump mentioned that he was “pro-choice in every respect”. After that, in his campaign he totally changed his opinion about abortion and he mentioned that he support pro-lifers. Many people questioned his commitment to the anti-abortion groups.

The pro-lifers mentioned that they now believe that he is truly committed to their cause. This is why they are expecting a lot of things from him. First of all, he needs to make some changes if he wants to please these groups.

One of the things that these groups want to change is the funded Planned Parenthood. The anti-abortion groups have a hard relationship with Planned Parenthood because they don’t approve it. They believe that these centers should be shut down, or at least they shouldn’t receive funds.

The problem is that the Obama administration made a regulation and now it is really hard for states to cut the funds that Planned Parenthood receives. This regulation states that the only way for states to cut funds is if they are unable to provide the necessary services.

The anti-abortion groups mentioned that they want Trump to roll back this regulation once he takes office. This way it would be a lot easier to cut the funds that these centers receive. Many people believe that Planned Parenthood should have its funds cut because it is a great organization and it has done a lot of good for women in the US.

We will just have to wait and see what president-elect Donald Trump decides once he takes office. Let’s hope that his decision will be a great one for everybody, despite the fact that he can’t please everyone.
