A New Smart Bed Will Be Launched at CES

The company Sleep Number will introduce a smart bed during CES show. The revolutionary bed might convince a lot of people especially because it has a foot warmer. The high-tech setting will help the company become famous. The smart bed is powered by SleepIQ technology. This represents the latest technology in biometric sleep tracking.

The Sleep Number 360 smart bed might be a great investment considering the fact that this bed was designed to automatically adjust in such a way that it keeps both partners sleeping quietly through the entire night. Shelly Ibach, the president and chief executive officer of Select Comfort company, argued that this smart bed is the future of sleep.

The new concept redefines the expectations which people have when it comes to an entire night of sleep. Quality sleep might have become a luxury in our times. Nevertheless, we all know how important it is to have the appropriate number of hours of sleep. Rest is significant for a healthy soul and a healthy body. This adjustable bed was declared to be ‘Best of Innovation’ honoree from the Home Appliances category at CES.

This award is won only by those highest-rated products promoted during CES. The smart bed was also named an honoree in the Embedded Technologies category and the Smart Home category. The CES Innovation Awards celebrate amazing engineering and product design in consumer technology products.

The newly designed bed offers self-adjusting comfort during the entire night. Even if each of the two partners changes their sleep positions throughout the night, the smart bed is still able to adapt depending on their users’ needs. The comfort of the bed is given by the ResponsiveAir technology using the two air chambers embedded in the mattress. This technology is capable of contouring the side of each partner, both stomach, and back profiles.

This bed is also equipped with snore detection, being able to adjust to the user’s position in such a way that the head of the person will be rose to help temporarily alleviate the symptoms of mild snoring. The new bed is also outfitted with Rapid Sleep Onset technology which will automatically warm the foot of the bed.

What is more, developers had also implemented a smart alarm feature which will wake the user when he or she is in the lightest stage of sleep.
